One of my goals, if I ever get to retire, is to restore a classic car. I'm really into the muscle cars of the '60's and early '70's, and have had my eye on the Dodge Charger for many years. Early on in the strip I decided that Edison's father Don should have a wreck of a car to work on. Don's rusty yellow Charger provides a wealth of strip material, especially when a know-it-all 10 year old gets involved.
I'm not sure if Don will ever get the car fully restored, but I'm sure going to enjoy watching him try.
